About

Brian McGrane is an Irish producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose career is built on a rich foundation of global live performance and studio craftsmanship. Raised in Navan, Ireland, he discovered his passion for music at a young age—playing keyboard by age seven and performing in local ensembles before forming his first rock band at twelve.

Brian’s path took a major leap forward when he was handpicked to tour the world as a pianist and vocalist for Celtic Woman, gaining international stage experience and collaborative depth that shaped his artistic trajectory. He is also one-half of the cinematic duo The Brave Collide alongside Chloë Agnew.

Today, Brian’s journey culminates in ENGRANE—a solo electronic project blending influences from Ben Böhmer, Ólafur Arnalds, Brian Eno, and David Gray. ENGRANE delivers atmospheric, melodic soundscapes that combine organic instrumentation with deep, emotive electronic production.

Having performed across the world, built his own production studio, and collaborated with artists such as Ryan O’Shaughnessy, Laura Durrant, and Chloë Agnew, Brian continues to expand his sonic footprint. ENGRANE's releases—including "Apollo" and "Only Know"—were selected for the official Opia Community compilation curated by Ólafur Arnalds and his label team, marking a major milestone for the project shortly after its launch.
